Spook Candles

We’re selling candles! 

I’ve always loved a candle. There’s something just so enthralling about them and they make your home smell that extra bit fancy. So when I enjoyed making them Will suggested I sell the spare ones that we don’t burn ourselves. Perfect! But where to start?

We’ve just got a new kitten (meet Spook here) so the inspiration for the brand is definitely our love for him! I just absolutely love the logo idea, using his tail for the L of candles as it’s his absolute favourite pose! In all honesty, we’ll probably make a more official logo eventually (same idea but just more fancy), but for now I absolutely love it.

Each container candle is homemade and handpoured which adds that extra excitement as each one is ever so slightly different. But we take pride and care for each and every single candle that we make. They come in many different ‘flavours’ as I keep calling them (check out the current fragrance options on our website) and colours too. You can even personalise the outside if you wish!

Our Etsy shop is now live!!!!! Wahoo. So pretty please if you have a minute head over there to share some loving. Even if you can’t buy anything just clicking ‘favourite shop’ or ‘favourite’ a product of ours makes us appear higher in the search bars which is great for us a start-up company. If you ever do make a purchase please also leave us a review. If something’s gone wrong it’s a way of making our products and service better but if you love it then we would just love to hear that we’re making you happy!

As always, candle safety is a must. Ensuring the safe and proper use of our candles is our number one priority and we advise you follow the below steps:

– Never leave a burning candle unattended.
– Never burn a candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.
– Burn candle out of reach of children and pets.
– Always leave at least 10cm between burning candles.
– Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire.
– Do not place candles in a draught.
– Trim wick to about 5mm before lighting.
– Don’t burn a candle all the way down. We recommend leaving 5mm of wax in the container.
– Always snuff out the candle. Do not blow out.
– Keep the wax pool clear and clear of matches and other debris to avoid flaring.
